VPN(Virtual Private Network) has two functionalities in it one which is mostly used by the companies to transfer the data in a tunneling process,and to improve the security of both public and private networks.The other functionality of the VPN is it can also be used as a proxy where the user can bypass the firewall settings and can be able to browse the webpages which are blocked in some of the colleges or universities, provides the more advanced security by encrypting and decryption of the packets in the transfer ends.Tunneling is done between two packets while transferring the data from one end to another end.
A VPN provides the security between private and public networks it has more advantages than the dial up connection and improves the speed of the internet.Speed will be more when compared to the dial up connection if VPN connection is established.Accessing the websites which are blocked and restricted can also be passed by making use of VPN. Authentication concept is introduced between two networks when they are connected by a VPN. Data encryption will be done so that only the users who are permitted can view the data (authenticated users.)
Create a VPN connection as proxy
As this vpn has two functionalities the second one comes handy mostly to access the blocked websites.Creating this VPN connection involves some steps which to be followed.
- Start by typing ncpa.cpl in run (Win+R) or you can go to control panel to start the VPN connection
- After entering into the control panel search for the option Network and Internet
- Enter there and look for the option"Network and sharing center". By entering into that option you can see the currently connected network and its advanced settings and many more options.Now look for the option "Set up a connection or a network" which can be seen easily.Enter into that option where you will have a dialogue box like this
Now tap on the option "Connect to a workplace" which helps you to move forward in creating the VPN connection.After clicking that now go with the option "Choose you internet connection as VPN" and one more option is "Dial directly" which helps to create a dial up connection.As of now click on the first option and proceed forward.Now fill the option which is in the image below don't change any thing.

Click on create and proceed forward,Once after clicking on this create option wait for 2 mins and check on toolbar where usually the internet connection logo and remaining things will be there.Just tap on that internet symbol and now you can see the VPN connection in VPN section and if you're using Windows 10 then you can see the option in the connected networks itself.
Submit the credentials accordingly to the VPN connection you use.For example in this tutorial i will go with UK VPN which helped me to bypass almost all websites and favored to download the contents from torrents etc..Now submit the username and password,check the below image for the username and password.

Password is=====>> free
Insert this credentials into text boxes and click on OK .After that check the VPNconnection status it will be shown as connected.When once it is shown as connected now you will be able to access the websites which are blocked.Before opening any website this ukvpn will ask you each and every time to agree to their terms and conditions.By clicking on the option which is shown on the page "I Agree" you will be agreed to their terms and conditions and wait until the page is completely loaded.When once it is done now reload the Facebook page now this time you will be able to browse Facebook or any website without any difficulties.
To delete VPN connection just follow this steps:
- Go to Control panel
- Look for Option Network and Internet
- On the left side you will be able to see an option "Change adapter settings" or simply type ncpa.cpl in run (Win+R) which directs you to this option straight away.Entering into that will proceed you to see the VPN connection option.
- Right click on that VPN connection and look for delete option,give delete to delete the VPN connection permanently.
